Reviews:
This review is solely based on the outlet on Prinsep Street as I haven’t been to the one in Bukit Timah. I’ve completed few games in this outlet and they have well-designed rooms with excellent props and interior designs. Most of the games here involve puzzle solving activities based on the given clues. The puzzles are quite logical and cryptic at the same time. Ideally a 4-5 people team is enough to complete the games or you might want to add more people if you’re beginners. You can check out the ratings based on the lighting, physicality, difficulty, and fear factor on their website to decide which game you’d like to play.

There’s not much mechanics or special effects being used. So if you’re a fan of automatic locks, doors and whizzy wooshy stuff, you might find this place a bit boring. You will be given a cordless phone (yes, a phone!) to communicate with the staff in case you need help.

The good thing is they won’t force you to play with some strangers as they won’t combine your team with others, and if you only have two people in your group, you can still play the games.  As the rooms are not adjacent to the main counter, I feel that it has pretty much anti-climatic ending. After you manage to escape from the room, all you can see is the corridor with a set of phone and not a single soul to be found, and then we have to walk back to the main counter to get our photos taken. Alas! They have funny colorful wigs, FBI vests and toy guns.
